We want healthy bodies for a lifetime. 95% of the food we serve is organic and non-GMO. We follow the USDA's guidelines for the "clean 15" and "dirty dozen".
We prefer FRESH, not frozen and REAL, not preservatives. Our on site cook chops FRESH pineapple, melon, and cantaloupe weekly. Ask for her grilled hummus sandwich or fried ric

We also believe in "stealth health", or adding healthier ingredients to already healthy foods that kids enjoy, like adding flax to mac-and-cheese, spinach to smoothies, or white bean puree to pancakes. (This concept works on spouses, too:)

Parents like to hear we teach traditional subjects like ABC's and 123's, science, Handwriting Without Tears, music, and math. However, teachers know it's also important to teach problem solving skills, good manners, gross and fine motor skills, tools for emotional regulation, how to be a kind friend, independence, creativity, and conflict resolution! In other words, some schools expect preschoolers to be able to complete a worksheet or give flashcard answers. TLC marinates children in life-long skills that grow brains and souls, because we know that rarely does real life (a.k.a. jobs, love interests, or existential questions) give us cookie cutter answers. Usually, life gives us more questions, and we want our kids, our future, to THINK.
